Technical Information
TRC's intervention consisted of the installation of a System of Structured Wiring of two adjacent buildings in Manoteras Avenue (Madrid) with the required functional level for Iberdrola's Engineering and Construction team.
The applications that Iberdrola Engineering and Construction team carries out require an infrastructure apt for the appropriate performance of its sales force, manufacturing, and logistics management teams as well as the information technology services for a company of its size.
Iberdrola's Engineering and Construction Team dependencies are located in the Manoteras Avenue in the city of Madrid. TRC worked in their 2 adjacent buildings, of 7 plants each plus the dedicated ones exclusively used for parking.
The System installation took part in a space covering approximately 20000 squared meters. The installation gave service to 1400 people mounting approximately 4200 simple points for voice and/or data services.
The installation of the Structured Wiring System was performed with the following principles based on the criteria defined in the design phase:
- Each one of the 2 buildings has a Data Center with a redundant connection
- Each Data Center was connected to a floor distribution system by means of optical fibre OM3 Larzspeed and by cable Coil 4 pairs 3091 LSZH CAT6 GigaSPEED X10D (6A) Systimax. This allowed for a redundant trunk connection up to 10 Gbps
- The installation was done with the redundant Data Center in such a way that in the evento failure, the other data center would start without any detectable failure
- The buildings were joined with OM3 Larzspeed Optical fiber.
- The redundant trunk connections to the building distribution area were made with OM3 Larzspeed Optical fiber
- Voice connections were made by means of a 100 pair 3010 LSZH cable to each building's floor distribution point. There is no voice connection between buildings.
- The horizontal wiring was done from each floor distribution point
- For the installation of all the voice and data points 230,000 meters of 4 pairs 3071E LSZH CAT6 GigaSPEED XL7 Systimax cable were used
